Replacing my clutch when I took off the cover I noticed there's a little strip of gasket missing can I add permatex so that little section and close it up that's what I want to do but I don't know if it's should be done. Anybody got any advice? I want to put it back together now.

I wouldn't use permatex there. It will end up in the oil.

You can get generic gasket material and make a gasket. Autoparts stores usually carry it. It doesn't take long but you have to be pretty careful and precise. A good hole punch will be handy as well.
