Gear shaft

Hi, has anyone changed the gear selector shaft seal on a Kz750 Spectre? Can the seal be changed without major engine strip down? Thanks.

No personal experience on that specific application but it looks like the seal can be changed on bike. It would be best to pull the shift shaft out first, and to do that the clutch must come out first. Once that's out of the way I suspect you could use standard seal replacement methods such as prying it out or shooting a small screw into the lip and pulling it out with pliers.
