Cylinder head cover

Hey everyone. Sorry for the rookie question here but I’m changing the gasket and plugs for the first time on my 1978 kz1000A2.

First question. Does the cylinder head itself directional. It’s fits both ways and wanted to ensure I’m putting it in correctly?

Secondly.... what is the order of tightening all the bolts as well as what torque is needed.

Any other tips would be useful. Just want to ensure I’m doing this correctly.

I think you're asking about the valve cover. It should fit either way on an A1.

There is no particular order specified for the bolts. I normally start on the inside on one side and work out, alternating between sides. The bolts should be torqued to about 70 inch pounds. Note...that's inch pounds, not ft pounds.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
