Clutch engage mechanism

Does anyone know why the clutch engage mechanism keeps jumping out and causes my clutch to not work. The little plate with three ball bearings spins to far and makes my clutch go out. Thanks for your help, Mike

What motorcycle is it? Did you replace or disconnect the cable recently?

Sounds you need to remove the arm and rotate it to a better position so it doesn't jump over the top.
