Waiting for valves to arrive for the head of my zx750e, does anybody know how much side play of the con rods is acceptable ? no up-down play seems apparent !

What year is your bike? I've only heard of a ZX750A (1983-1985). According to the manual, the service limit for clearance is the same as the KZ750E/H (0.45mm, see page 174). I couldn't find anything else mentioned in the later model supplements towards the end of the manual.
