This is my first post on the forum! I am currently looking for a clutch cover/right engine cover for my 1975 KZ400d. I am having difficulty finding one for a 1975 on ebay, and I was curious if other years will work. Most of the part websites I have looked at have said that the 14032-106-80 is the only compatible part, however, kz400.com states "Clutch Cover Late Z400/440s use same Clutch Covers. The early Z400 one can be made to fit if you shave off the edge next to the Generator and open up gear change hole and cover fixing holes" How much work is this in practice? Also, how difficult is it to change the covers? I assume I will need both gaskets 14050-010 and 14046-031 for this. Beyond that, I don't know much more. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
