Not sure where you are located, but I sent my KZ-1000 head out to APE to get worked on. It took a while to get it back but their work looked quite nice. They replaced all the exhaust valves, guides, seals and surfaced the head. I think it took about 2 months to get it back. I later decided to replace the pistons and went with a 1045 kit from Wiseco. I found a place called Millennium Technologies in Plymouth, Wisconsin that did the cylinder work for me. When I took the block there they told me they could have also have done the head work. The cylinders turned out great and only took about 2 weeks to get finished. In the end I was quite pleased with both jobs but if there is a next time I will take the head to Millennium so I avoid shipping it and the associated headaches.

We had a very early Z1 head done for a stock street motor by Ward performance. Guides, valves, seats etc. It's been running fine.

At $2,100 I suspect the price of used heads is going to rise substantially.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

What about by new liners?
Is it not companys who can make liners according to measurement?

Then can the old liners just be pushed out sith new ones?
