Ready for next step was created by Kiddynamite8
Ok guys, thanks to all your help, I'm ready to clean these pistons and get this thing going!
My next question is how should I go about cleaning?? There is a bunch of crap all over and I don't want it all falling into the bottom.
Any advice is ALWAYS appreciated greatly.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

You should probably pull the piston wrist pins and remove the pistons. The wrist pins will have a small wire circlip on each end. Remove one ant then tap the pin gently from the opposite side to remove it. Soak the pistons and use an ultrasonic cleaner.

Agree with removing pistons. Be sure to mark them so you know which hole they came from. The cylinders are numbers 1 to 4 from left to right when sitting on the bike.
Carb dip works well to remove carbon and varnish.

Thanks for the help! I don't have an ultrasonic cleaner, so I will try the carb dip.
Thanks!

I suggest fill paper in the wholes to avoid less dirt as possible to fall down into the crankcase.
