Safety wire them. Then you can just forget about them ever coming loose again!!!!

Unlike Loctite, when you go to remove them. The chance of the studs coming out with the nuts is zero!!!!

How many and what size of nuts do you need? I have to pay 5 Cent per nut (M6/M8) at my local nuts and bolt shop.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAre you using the fasteners in your 1st pic? The stock exhaust holder nuts are flat where they contact the exhaust holders. not serrated like the ones in the pic. Also, when tightening the nuts, I do them gradually & in sequence. similar to tightening the valve cover bolts.

For some fasteners I use Permatex high temp thread sealant as a thread locker. I believe it's the same stuff used on pipe fittings by plumbers. It sets up as a thick paste, but you can reposition the nuts afterwards. I sometimes use it when the manual doesn't specify a locking agent, but want to make certain the fastener stays in place. such as the Fr brake rotor bolts & a couple of other fasteners. The thread sealant may affect how you torque a bolt, so you have to be wary on something like the exhaust holder nuts.

...
