Question about cylinder head was created by Tarsyn
Hello, I am new to the forum. I just got a 1977 KZ1000. The good news it only has 9000 miles, the bad news the bike was sitting outside against a fence for the last 25 years. The engine was partially taken apart and inside a shed. It looks like squirrels were trying to make a nest inside the case. It doesn't look too bad though and I think I can rebuild it. My question is that the cylinder head isn't complete. The rocker cases were nowhere to be found. Is that something that I can used or do I have to get a whole new cylinder head. It looks as though it is line bored for the cam. Any input would be appreciated. I really am having fun working on this bike.
