Hi - My 82 KZ1100 piston rings seem to not follow ring convention - Neither the ones coming off or the new Nippon ones going on have any marking other than the 2nd (heaviest) one which has the N stamped on it. The originals don't have anything at all?
The top ring is a square profile as are the 2 thing lower ones so I assume as a square profile it makes no difference which way up they are and therefore why no markings? Correct?
