Looking on the Internet for parts I may need for my 1977 KZ-1000 and I came across some reproduction camshaft end plugs. They are listed as having "double lips" to help hold them in place during assembly. Do the OEM end plugs only have a single lip and is there anything to these end plugs with double lips or is it just hype? Thanks..

The OEM ones only have the single lip on the outside.

I switched over to double lipped ones after I had a stock one pop out on the road leaving me stranded, I'll never go back.
Both brands listed above are good choices

An old mod trick is to put the OEM plugs inside out to prevent the Pop out effect.
