I am missing the ball bearings for the ball and ramp actuator for the clutch. Does anyone know where I can find these? I was working on a sticky clutch handle when I took the sprocket cover off and pulled out the ball and ramp actuator (pictured below) and noticed that the ball bearing where missing. I have not had this bike on the rode since I bought it.

There are three types found on Kz's, but I'm not sure about the 750 twin.

There is a type that uses a plain screw type. Then there is a type using balls with a circular ramp. Finally there is a type that uses balls with pockets.
The type with balls and pockets are more common on the later years I think.

If I can remember to check when I get home, I'll try to measure the balls for the ball-pocket type, and maybe post a dissected photo so you can see if that is what you have.

If all you need are the bearings, a bicycle shop might have them loose so you can buy singles.

According to tha parts diagram, your bike uses the same actuator as the liter bikes of that time.

If Lou can't find one, I should have one knocking around the garage I can measure.

I would search the part numbers from Partzilla on eebbaayy & compare the parts there to what you've got. EB pics are handy for stuff like this, especially pics of NOS parts. Partzilla has photos of some parts.

Ok, so that is the ball-pocket type. You will need more than just the loose ball bearings. You will need the "cage" which holds the balls. You can see it listed on Texas's link. 92045-1001 It shows in stock on that link, but I don't know if that means they actually have it. You might find it somewhere available.

I attached an exploded photo of the {b] Kz550 [/b] version. you can see the 3 balls are in a stamped, sheet-metal holder, or "cage". Ignore the actuator part number on this photo. The part number is different on the bigger bike, but the part number for the ball-bearing-cage is the same.

I also attached a diagram, below, of how it works and how to adjust it.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWow, that is expensive on ebay $30. I bet you could get the whole assembly cheaper, but here's the link.

Here is a picture of the internals. Will the part that has been listed earlier be the right one for this setup?

Yes, but in my opinion it's overpriced.

Since it is an active part number, your local Kawasaki dealer may have one lying around, or can order one for you. Some folks have complained about Partzilla not always having in stock what they say they have, but I have had good luck with them.
