Head gasket change

Hi
Suspect a head gasket leak on my 1982 KZ400 LTD - can the head be removed with the engine remaining on the frame or do I need to remove ? Thanks

the head can be removed with the engine remaining on the Frame on near all early Kawasaki bikes.
