kz750 oil pump was created by gixxerkidd03
i pulled my oil pan to change the pan gasket today and noticed the oil pump screen looks to of have had a lot of suction behind it and the rubbber gasket was mis shaped and crushed a little.
anyone ever seen this ?

I have, but only because it was blocked with silicone and debris (picture in this thread:
www.kzrider.com/kunena/2-engine/599503-a...-the-silicone#688011
).
Make sure it's clean, if it's clean then there shouldn't be much resistance, in the same way that blowing on a flyscreen door doesn't move it much. It could have been blocked previously and then cleaned, which may explain the distortion?
