That might be difficult. All cam caps are slightly different, at the factory they are fitted and then line bored so they fit exactly. That's why they're all numbered and need to go back into the exact same spot. If you take a cam cap from a different bike, it's unlikely to match.

If you can get a set of them you might be able to choose the best one, but if you want it done properly, that usually involves getting new caps and a new line boring job.

How is the cap broken? If it's cracked somewhere along the cam mating surface, that may indicate that it's been bolted down in the wrong place. Make sure that all your caps are in the right place. If it's just the threaded part that's damaged, I'd attempt a repair.

Yeah I'm familiar with the process I'm not sure how or why it got broke honestly it broke clean in half I'm thinking user error at some point but figured if I could track down a set or even 1 I could hopefully buff it and get to work I noticed it's not a perfect seem like rod cap so figured there's some room for error worst case I'd buy a head mine was running and already plumbed for nitrous didn't want to re do all that work

Can't hurt to try. You might want to get a bore gauge and see how round it turns out. Some plastigauge wouldn't hurt either.

All the aircooled Z650 / Z700 and Z750 -4 heads are based on the same casting and so is the ZR750 Zephyr so caps from any of those are the same fitment.

The combustion chamber did change over the years; starting in '82 (I think) some models got a bath tub shaped chamber.

Should be correct, just make sure it's not to tight, best way would be to take the head off remove the valves and try the caps with camshaft in to see which one fits best, although line bored at factory, there is very little difference in measurements because all tooling is renewed and set up after a specific number of parts are machined.
