Don't know if this has been addressed in the past or not. Was wondering if someone could tell me how tall a stock cylinder is for a 77-80 KZ1000. It will give me an idea on the difference from my big block cylinder. Installing the MTC pistons for 83-84 GPZ1100 in my 77 bottom end for the GPZ head. Trying to get a little bit of an idea if I'll need bottom spacer Thanks, Tom

Oh, I know. Was just curious. Thought the aftermarket big blocks were a little taller.

Any chance of posting a pic or two of the MTC pistons you are installing?

They are 10.5 to 1 for 83-84 GPZ1100 MTC. They have 17mm pins

Very Nice!
What is the cylinder bore required for these pistons?

Stock KZ1000 is 3.525. If the pistons have the GPZ pin location, you will need a .055" spacer under the block.
