The dowel is metric 8mm, it is hollow, and pretty cheap to buy oem parts along with an oem gasket at the same time..
Z1 sells them, ebay has them.

I (and others) suggested better pics showing the entire cover and case so that people trying to help OR trying to learn from your problems can either see all of the bolt holes.
