My 1984 Kawasaki Kz 750 L3 is so tired and unreliable that I am ready to put down the cash and have the engine re done. After 24 thousand miles on the road, the engine is tired and leaking oil from behind the ignition timing system. I replaced the rubber seal in there but it just keeps loosing oil, I suspect the crankshaft isn't moving like it should be after all these years on the raod . The bike has never really been reliable so I think its best just to tear it down.
Does any forum member know of a good mechanic/ priest/ bar tender that can perform a quality rebuild? Preferably in the north east around the NYC region. I have a pickup tuck and am willing to travel. If not, this may be my time to spring for the Z900 RS
