Weird sound then shuts off. Kz 750 ltd 1982

I need help!

Link to the video:(( it shuts off completely. My bike is on time (done today 21 august), 140 jets with 4 pods, dyna ignition and coil, new battery, recently new oil. What am I missing. It happens when the revs are low or when I want to start developing speed for the 1st gear.

Your video was unhelpful. Sound on video is not always the same as as sitting on the bike or being next to it. Then you don't try to restart the bike. Lastly, take a minute and upload a profile pic...

Tell me that you have a manual for your bike. It's a great first start of you are planning to fix your own bike.

You can clearly hear the clacking noise in the middle of the video.

It just sounds like it's starving for gas. That's my best guess.

Will it start up again after a bit and then reoccur? You'll need to do a better job of explaining what the symptoms are and then what happens next, and it doesn't hurt to know how long you've had the bike and if it ever ran great. You know, some background. It doesn't seem like anything major but anytime you are in traffic and at nighttime to boot, stalling and an engine quitting on you is not optimum.

Sorry to say this but it just sounds like a very poorly running bike. Your carb jetting doesn't seem even close.

Have you done all the various maintenance tasks like adjust the valves and a full carb teardown and cleaning in carb dip? I'd get a Dynojet kit and real K&N pods too. That way you know the mixture will be close to right, after the carb work is done.

The clattering noise before shut down sounds like clutch hub and primary drive chain noise. Not really something to worry about. Just focus on getting the bike running better.

Hii thank you for your response always on time. I dont know what happened I was happy and my bike was running flawlessly for 1 month and a half. Thats why Im scared that it might be something more than just the carbs...

Well you still don't provide enough details for anyone to go on so unless I see a better effort from you...I'm out. You haven't addressed Nessism's question nor made much of an effort to help yourself so good luck with it.

Hi I just wanted to thank you, it may be the clutch hub. When I removed the clutch cover plate, and tried to move the clutch it was easily move by my force, by this I understod that the bushings inside the clutch bell had been compromised. When I change it I will continue to update you.

And for the other person who tried to help Im ignoring you since I felt that you were in a offensive position and not in a helpful one. Thank you anyways.
