Need some help I am rebuilding my 1978 KZ1000 LTD engine am having problems finding the gasket that goes between the two main cases or crankcase could some direct me to a place online I could purchase this

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationRTV sealant is what you need.
I use V-tech but any good quality rtv will do the job.

Threebond 1184 is the stuff.   www.amazon.com/Three-Bond-Liquid-Gasket-...300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

It's not RTV, it's an acrylic liquid gasket.  Similar to the stuff OEM's used originally.  

RTV can be used as well, just be careful to not use too much.  Threebond 1207B is RTV and Kawasaki used that on at least some of the 750/4 engines (like the one that was in my bike).   www.amazon.com/Three-Bond-Gasket-Maker-1...300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
