tuning - ignition timing first or carb jetting?

Should I dial in jetting first and then adjust ignition timing or vice versa? Or some iterative combo of both? I've read a bunch of posts online about this - they all say different things. What do my KZ brethren say??

Timing.
Float level.
Carb sync.
