About to order parts from APE tomorrow including an adjustable cam sprocket. I don't have the motor in front of me, but stock 77' KZ1000A with stock cams.

APE has 2 sprockets, one is 30-T and the other is 32-T. I'm assuming I have the 30-T sprocket on my "stock" cams and motor ?

77 stock engine, 30 tooth with small center pin 15 tooth crankshaft. 122 link cam chain.
79-80 MarkII engines with big center pin crank with a 16 tooth pin use 32 teeth. 124 link cam chain.
If your all stock, nothing changed. 30 teeth.

You can also get the DID 219HH. 122 link cam chain from them.
