No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationYeah... Steve's Cycle Salvage is the gouger I was thinking of. Here's his OEM KZ900 seat, only $650 dollars plus $40 shipping. In addition, for only an additional $25 Steve will cut a fart on it for you. Now remember, this is OEM, so much better than the exact duplicate Z1 Parts Inc. will sell you for $165 that's indistinguishable from OEM.

I think I'd take a pass on that $25 extra, as that sudden vibration might turn that 40 year old foam into powder.

That part is also the oil bypass in the event the filter stops receiving oil. It's factory set for (I think) about 2 psi. Without the bypass you would not get oil into your engine to lubricate everything and you could lose it. I've seen repro ones selling fairly cheap. Be sure to purchase the sensor, the black cover cap and the screws that hold it down. They need to be the proper length.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
