Hey! I checked the starter clutch itself, and it is 100% new, including the threads, just like your picture.

I think the only thing i've left to replace is the housing with the rollers/pins/springs.

Sounds good, if the ramps are flatten out you won´t get any grip.

Thanks!

Sorry for lack of knowledge, but are you referring to the grooves on the starter clutch gear itself (the thing we just discussed), or are you talking about another part?

I'm now trying to source a new "housing" for the rollers/springs. Looks like part number 13193-1012 on the schematic, but all the parts I look at online do not LOOK like that housing...

My last post, "ramps are flatten out", is relate to the housing for the rollers/pins/springs.

Happy wrenching

THANK YOU ALL!

Guys, quick update. After upgrading EVERYTHING in the starter clutch EXCEPT for the housing with the rollers/pins/springs, we FINALLY did upgrade the housing.

Sure enough, it worked/started up like a champ. Now my broken bike is free again, and i'm happy as can be.

Thank you all so much for your advice and guidance. I still am very ignorant, but truly have learned so much over the past 6 months, thanks to you all!
