stock pipes

i have a set of pipes off a 1977 kz1000 ltd 2 into 1 is their a way to tell if original or after market? markings?

If they are all rusted and falling apart they are aftermarket.

The KZ1000 is a 4 cylinder bike, so 2 into 1 does not compute. Did you mean 4 into 2? Ed

yes 4into 2 and they are not rusted . i thought they might have some kind of stamping on the originals but i dont see anything.just curious?thanks

The stock mufflers on my 1977 KZ650 are stamped as shown below. Ed
