Should oil pan gasket be installed with gasket sealer or Yamabond? Or dry? Please advise. Thanks!

I'm not specifically familiar with the 1100 but on the 750 the sump gasket is to be installed dry. The factory manual specifies dry unless specific use of sealer is highlighted.
