Tks

Please see attached photo. The smallest shims I have is 2,4 and have now order 2,0 I can use to find correct shims.
You think I will not get any space with 2,0 either?

If you are already at 2.4 and no clearance I'd remove the valves and have your machinist shave the stem down a little.

Thank you,

Exhaust valve:
1. Shims 2,40 and I measured 0,28
2. Shims 2,65 and I measured 0,27
3. Shims 2,60 and I measured 0,18
4. Shims 2,40 and I measured 0,27

Inlet:
No air gap...

I have talked with the workshop and he suggested two option for.
1. Step down the value to what I say he shall step down to....
2. He can adjust each valve to the clearness I want.

What shall I go for?
1. How can I figure out how much he shall take off ? shall he take all 8 then ?
Will I got problem to re-shims in the future, gap will get smaller and smaller?

2.
If he shall adjust the clearness by step down the valve, then I should have the same shims on all valves when I deliver the
parts to him? I will then get same air gap on all valves and same shims on all valves, I will then have a perfect starting point for future adjustment ? What shims should I install before I deliver the parts to him?

Have I understand these correct ? what is the best to-do?

I think I want to go for option where he tap off to wanted valve clearness, to avoid any more problem... I ask him to take of to much or less...

My only questions is then, Is it fine I just use the shims I have today or must I order some new?
I`m thinking of future valve clearness adjustment... I need to have something to adjust on... able to go up and down in shims sizes ??

What I have today:
2,4
2,65
2,55
2,45
2,75
2,7
2,7
2,7
