Saving a cracked gasket was created by bluej58
I ordered a OEM cluch cover gasket for my wife's bike and when it was delivered by the post office, our mail carrier folded it and put it in our box.
One look at it and I knew it was damaged.
I bought it from a reputable seller on Ebay that apologized and offered to buy it back or give a discount but I'm wondering if there is a repair that you guys use.
It's definitely cracked but not all the way trough.

Does the clutch cover hold oil like on a Kz? If so, I wouldn't trust it. You guys go on long rides and it would suck to get stranded.
Have the seller put it in a ridged box so it can't be folded, or package it with a board or something.

I think your right Lou, I don't need it to start leaking in the middle of the desert next Spring.
Yeah I told him them they needed to rotate one of the card board pieces so they both don't fold the same way and mark the wrapper(Do not fold ) next time.....
