82 1100 Spectre ...Front bevel gears gasket??

I see that the gasket for this was discontinued, ...so do I need to make a gasket from a sheet of cork? Or just put a bead of yamabond around it?

Really? I guess it never occurred to me that ebay would be a viable source for that of a discontinued Kawasaki gasket, yet I purchased my Altec Lansing Voice of the Highways on Ebay. Just didn't figure ebay was a viable source, simply due to the expendable nature of a gasket. My Altecs are a collectible item. A gasket maybe not so much.

You guys are the best, ...certainly a wealth of information amongst ya'all. Rergarding the gasket, I guess I've been stiffed too many times via the interweb and have a lil trouble interweb trusting. Partzilla specifically lists that gasket as not available, so bb probably doesn't have it either. bb may be back to their old deceptive tricks, listing unavailable parts & letting you pay for them, then tell you after your order is processed that it's NLA.

Isn't that gasket made of thin paper? It might be easier to go to your nearest auto parts store and by a sheet of the appropriate gasket material and an exaxto knife, and cut your own gasket. The leftover materiel and the knife will still be in your tool chest the next time you need some difficult to find gasket. After the first two or three, you may wonder why you ever bothered to buy a gasket. Yes, some of them are a bit complex, most are not hard to replicate.
