For the Ozzy guys, can anyone recommend a repairer who will straighten and weld an as new GPZ1100 crankshaft in Australia, rather than sending to the U.S.

A company in Germany can do the crank job,l but the shipping cost will be expensive as the crank work.

Thanks for your reply, I've contacted Stan Gardner in U.S (see twisted crank), he gave some good feedback. Once I have the crankshaft removed from the bike (I'm from Perth but working in QLD at present) I'll send it to the U.S unless someone can be recommended in Australia. Its going to cost but my engine has only covered 6,000kms from new.

Sorry Nessism, I was away for a couple of days (work related). I am actually working in Brisbane at present but I do fly around Australia a bit (I was in Sydney for a meeting yesterday).
You are a great help (In a nice way) Thankyou.
I'll check your PM now to find out who FB is.

FB, off course, gee I feel old not knowing that. I'll get my Abacus out to calculate the cost. You know when you are old when you have a hard time adding a sextant to the fairing to find your way to Sydney.
