Right front motor mount was created by tomsbadkz
I started my project a few years ago. I misplaced the right front motor mount for my 1977 KZ1000A. A guy I know gave me a mount he had. My question is, is this mount supposed to have a little offset like in the pics or is suppose to be perfectly flat?

You can flatten it with a Soft face hammer on an anvil or thicker steel plate

Im just wanting to make sure it is or isnt correct. Im not gonna try and straighten it if it is bent. Ill buy a new one. Can someone look at their mount and see if it is flat or a slight contour.

Sorry, Im 6 states away from my bike at this moment. But with all your other performance mods you may want to consider stiffer aluminum mounts like mine to reduce flex under hard acceleration..

The front motor mount is FLAT and not bent like yours.
A side view will help to verify the mounting points and bores...
