Clutch cable replacement kz550

So I followed all of the directions for replacing the clutch cable, but when i put everything back together, the clutch slips. Even with everything adjusted out the engine only begins to disengage. I thought it was the return spring on the clutch release, but the problem persists

Did you only adjust the cable or did you also adjust the clutch?

I broke my cable today so installing new one soon.

Not sure if it just, but I do know that when checking post on cell phones you don’t see the posted dates... not your fault. But I wanted you to know this post was last updated September of 2017.... chances of getting a reply are not strong...
