Hi,
I have received a new top gasket form ebay, but I just wanted to ask if it`s damage?
In both ends it was some bend up, not much, but some. the brun stuff has some mark after it, but I cannot see that that the metal inside the gasket is damage ?
Please see picture here:
temp.dynamitt.net/div/MC/topgasket/
Will these be any problem for me?
Thank you for taking your time to looking into these.

Bummer!
I would not fit that gasket. Thats the notorious source of a oil leak on theae bikes even if you fit new orings.

I'd use it. Per the manual's instructions, you are supposed to coat that area of the gasket with sealant during assembly anyway.

I understand, because the metal inside the gasket looks great, so the sealer will properly fix it, hope so !
It looks like the oil channels in both side of the engine is leaking on my existing top gasket... and not from the piston, because is just in both ends its leaking...
Is it a special seal I need to use, or just a random top gasket seal for cars?

It's the O ring that makes the seal. The old ones get hard and sometimes crack. I'd use a good sealer not RTV. It weeps. I like the copper coat for head gaskets.

Thank you for giving me more inputs to "learn" how these is working!
I`m confident using it now.
Do you have examples of seals brand I can use ?

Don't use the regular Permatex with the brush. It's a PITA to get off.
