Kz750 twin won't stay running was created by Backwoods_biker
My 750 twin won't start now even though the day before it ran just fine just needed the carbs adjusted which I didn't touch. The carbs have just been ultrasonic cleaned and everything so that's not the issue. It's a kickstart only bike and it will start for a second then die and the only way I can get it to fire for a second is with an open throttle. I just don't know what to do now

Starting only with full throttle indicates a fat air / fuel mixture .
Have you starting problems when engine is hot or cold?

I should mention it has air pods and free flowing exhaust and before today it would start right up with a couple kicks hot or cold

Check your float bowl high,
Do you smell fuel?
Are the needle valves renewed with your carb rebuild?

Ya everything is new and set right and ya I smell fuel so it's not a fuel issue also it will only try starting with no choke

Alright good news I just turned the ratio screws all the way out and it started right up granted they aren't synced so it doesn't run correctly but it fired the first kick now with no throttle either
