rings are in the right position.I do believe the ring grooves are off.As I take the the rings and slide the side of the rings in the groove it gets stuck in 2 parts of the groove.
Are you putting the rings outer face into the groove or fitting the ring on to the piston.
If it's the former then you need to fit the rings on the piston to see if the "problem" disappears.
The ring groove is not square towards the back and would cause the FACE of the ring to bind which would not be an issue when the rings are fitted correctly.
Have fitted hundreds of Wiseco pistons and never come across any ring fitting or machining faults.
2 of the ring stes went on perfect and the rings spin freely on the pistons.The other 2 the second ring will not spin in the 2nd groove.I bought the pistons used and they came with a new ring set.I have never used these pistons.I have only dropped a few piston and ring sets in and I have never had this problem.

This one has me stumped.I'm going to remove the rings from the other 2 pistons to mic out,compare and try on the other pistons
Ah! didn't notice that the piston were used and the rings only stick in a couple of spots ?
Sounds like the ring lands have probably had a knock whilst in storage or during shipping .
You could use a needle file in the groove and carefully ease the tight spots until the ring seats with the same fit as the rest of the ring grooves circumference.
The high spots are most likely to be just on the outer face of the land and not in the depth of the groove.
Once done correctly you should be good to go.
