I have a 77 Yamaha XS650 and ppl swear that NGK iridium plugs make ir run better.

I got a 77 Kawasaki KZ750 for my bday a few months back and I wonder, can anyone suggest a "better-than-stock" spark plug for this bike?

Thanks!

Put a set in my bike quite a while ago and the insulator dis colored around the base pretty bad on all 4 so I went back to reg NKG's and Champions. Did double check to make sure I had the correct number and heat range. Maybe they've improved the seal now but for the money I wasn't happy. Seems like you might get a tiny bit of perf out of em but its probably like everything else and just hype.

Normal NGK plugs are fine.Just gap them properly. the extra expense if iridium is money well spent elseware. what ever you do don't use Bosch platinium plugs!!!! they are horrible. Volkswagen switched over to NGK from Bosch years ago, best thing they ever did. I always use anti-seize on the threads and dielectric grease on the connector.
