79 kz 400 ltd exhaust help

Hello all,

Just wondering if anybody knows if any year exhaust will work? Will a 440 exhaust be a direct fit? Some different used options on ebay and 1 or 3 might be worth the gamble. Thanks

I think the only problem will be with the muffler hangers, but that is usually a fairly simple modification.

Why could this thing not of been be a KZ 1000? in this shape??????

Sorry Bro Ham! Already Done! They were loose inside! When I took them off bike they both rattled like a cheap can of spray paint!
The tubes were rotted in half?? Inside! This bike sat since 1999! Inside a sealed garage!
Plus both sides had acid stains on the chrome! More than I have ever seen!
They only looked good in the 1st pictures!
Me as an eBay seller! Would not have sold these!
So that is why I cut them down!
The down tubes are great for the Chopper / Bobber Guys!
But my z1kzonly name is same as ebay, and I am listing all these parts on and off!
Freak, it took me 3-4 hour already to get these pipes down like this!
And I charge $30 dollars an hour Labor for my restoration work!
I have did quite well so far for my $100 investment!
