I found a set of the telescoping bore gauges in the garage that I didn't even know I had! Similar to the ones here:
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I8NDAS/ref...3d0&pf_rd_i=15708741
I'm going to get some more precise measurements tonight, but cylinder #2 (the one with lowest compression) measured around 2.617-2.618 inches on a quick check - which converts to 66.47-66.49 mm. The other cylinders were closer to spec, around 2.599" - 2.608"
So it looks like i'll need to go at least one size over. If measurement for #2 is accurate, is this still acceptable to go the first size over? Or would I need to go to the 2nd size over?
I really would love to save the bores, but it looks like they may just be too worn out.

I don't trust those telescoping gauges. Way too hard to get a good measurement.
A getto check can be performed by sticking a ringless piston down into a bore and try cutting a feeler gauge between the skirt and cylinder at various places. The wear is typically at it's max about an inch down from the deck surface (or there abouts). If you can get a .004" feeler between the skirt and wall perpendicular to the pin then you got yourself some excess wear.
