Only the Orient Express drag bike is track only .
All the others are road bikes and get ridden daily.
I don't have a car,only bikes all year round.
The Alloy café is in its 3rd year on the road and the pipes slip off easily once a year to change the oil filter.

That's right, you can ride with no lights over there during the daytime.

I just make them a sliding fit. Usually the same size header inner as the outer on the stub and run a small flap wheel up the pipe to ease the fit if it needs it.
Nothing technical. Just enough to let them slip in smoothly without force or having to twist them.
If you have them slack they will wear with vibration , rattle and have excessive blow by.

I noticed there's a 0.010" variation between the pipes. This doesn't seem like much but can be a big difference in this application. I'll do the first 0.002 over the smallest pipe and go from there.
