Missing stock exhaust compenser was created by shamal
On my zx900a the PO removed the center exhaust compenser running under the engine and that its supposed to connect the two left headers with the other 2 on the right.
What this can cause ? Loss in performance? Dull sound at idle as i already have?

Removing the exhaust equalizer between the two exhaust pairs would be expected to slightly reduce efficiency of the exhaust system with stock mufflers.

Take a look through the following thread. newOld_kz1000 performed a rather nice repair/replacement of the crossover pipe for minimal dollars. Ed

Might be exhaust leaks incident to removal of equalizer components.
