I learned something from the robot. Did you notice how heavy the robot went with the sealant at the gullies in the case? On a J engine the book says to apply sealant to the lower case half. Meanwhile, those same gullies are at the front of the upper half. So I made it a point to fill the gullies before I bolted everything together.
As a matter of fact, the case halves leaked in the same area after a previous builder used a thin amount of low-grade sealant. .
