Shinko e270 on a csr? was created by TBurglar
Has anyone tried to put the 4.00/90-19 e270 on a 3.25 rim? Did it work/ fit under the fender?

Sorry... Meant to put this in the chassis section. Please move it mods. I couldn't figure out how to delete it and start over.

Not sure how helpful this will be. From doing the math the radius of the new tire should be 13.1".
I have a 100/90-19 Bridgestone Battlax on my 81 650-csr. from the math it's supposed to have a 13.04" radius.
Using a measuring tape, it's 13-1/8" from the floor to the center of the axle & there's plenty of fender clearance.

100 x 0.90 = 90 -->> 90/25.4 = 3.54" -->> 3.54 x 2 = 7.08" -->> 7.08 + 19 = 26.08 dia. -->> (26.08)/2 = 13.04" radius.

That Shinko 270 looks like it belongs on a 1939 Buick. :laugh: Ed
