Hope this can help someone and make their life a bt easier. I am rebuilding a 1981 KZ1000J1 and had the engine complete and the frame painted and ready. I was very concerned about how to get the VERY HEAVY complete engine into the frame without damaging any paint on either of them. I got to thinking (after a few cold ones), why not lay the engine on the left side, (#! cylinder on the table) and get my buddy help and gently lower the frame over the engine and bolt it up. My frame was stripped and this would be allot harder with the front end assembled on the bike. It worked so easily I thought I would share it. Sorry no pictures. At this point you can stand up the frame and engine as one unit and install the forks I did this before moving everything back to the motorcycle stand to finish up. My table was a 2' x 3' roll around so it was easy to move it where I needed it. Very simple for 2 men with bad backs and NO scratches. Hope this helps someone. God bless this Forum and everyone in it.

Good reminder of a well known method. Sorry, you didn't invent it. Great minds think alike though!
