Possibly the first stupid question of 20017 was created by McZed
I'm still having problems with the starter motor on my Kz1000 J1.
Is it possible to remove the starter motor without taking off the carbs? Mine won't come out. :angry:

Yes, the starter will come out even though the carbs and the cam chain tensioner make it a tight fit.
