KZ1000 Z1R Piston Kit Advice was created by larriken
Hi all, I am after a set of new pistons for my Z1R engine build and having a bit of trouble finding what I want from here in New Zealand. I only want to put back the motor to standard so just need a set of standard pistons, possibly one or two oversize (haven't had a proper measure yet). Question is, can anyone out there point me on the right direction for a good standard piston kit. Cheers!

I don't know anything about these folks, but they might have what you are after.

This company has an excellent reputation. The pistons I see are hi comp., but they may be able to lead you in the right direction.

I would contact Pitstop performance in Florida. They have a great selection of MTC Piston kits and have the best pricing.
I know you said standard , but MTC come in all sizes and compression ratios and should last you forever in a stock type motor

I went with IMD pistons from the UK. I have not started my engine yet but they looked good when I put them in and the price was right.
