Oil pan bolt was created by BIGRob850
Have a 82 kz750 m1 csr twin. I'm replacing oil pan gasket and have no clue what the oil pan bolt torque specs are. Don't want to brake a bolt or a have a new leaky gasket. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't you have a factory Kawasaki service manual? The specs for such things are contained there in.
Below is from my 750/4 manual and may help...
Edit: firewall where I work is blocking image attachment. You are on your own to find the info...

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

for the 79 750 twin the manual says 0.9 - 1.1 kg-m or 78 - 95 inch - lb
your 82 likely has the same size bolts so torque should be the same as above.

Mine call for 61 to 78 inch lbs so I went at it slow 10 or so at a time till I hit 65 let it sit a day then went a touch more with a 3 inch long wrench to feel em and they all felt good and snug..... over kill but it made me feel sure of it. Bought a after market gasket first (in 2012 and they sent me two by mistake)...... offered to send it back but they told me to keep it.......then decided to order a original from Partzilla this time and liked the quality of it better.
