Hello,

I have a 78 KZ1000 with 28000 Kms and while be restoring/rebuilding this winter and wondered if anyone any advice or point to a sticky or a build with good advice. I did a cold compression test with just bare engine and all cyclinders 100-110. So is there a cost effective mods that wont break the bank but give nice performance boost. I plan to sell after I enjoy for a bit and move on to the next KZ. Once engine is tore down i will have checked just for a ring job. All comes down to $$

Thanks
Scott

I don't see a reason to repair engine. If compression in all cylinders has close numbers, I wouldn't worry about it. You can flush engine to free stuck rings. I use cheap ATF.
