Will a KZ900 head fit on a 1977 KZ1000 engine? was created by woodman260
Does anyone know if a KZ900 head will fit on a KZ1000 motor? And if there is anything special that I would have to do?

All 1973-1980 900/1000 heads swap with no issues. The 900's use 6mm exhaust studs while the 1000 uses 8mm. Other than that pretty much identical.
