Hey Gang, going to replace the valve stem seals on the KZP. Big difference in prices. Z1 has three different ones listed for between $1.88 and $12.94. That's quite a spread. What is the difference and is there a better choice?
I PM'd DFI for his viton seals but have not heard back
Thanks,
Jim

Yes, the most expensive are genuine Kawasaki OEM seals...the mid-priced are viton, while the least expensive are aftermarket standard composition seals. In this day and age with ethanol-laden fuels, I'd be inclined to lean towards the viton seals. I have purchased both the viton (from DFI) and the aftermarket standard seals from Z1E...have had no issues with either choice.

I'd go viton. Got them on eBay. Standard seals suck. Old Tech.

I'd like to go with DFI's (I try to support our members) but have not heard back. Anyone heard from him?
